Your profile will determine how many responses you will get. Write a profile by which people can get enough information about you to decide if you might be compatible. There are several pieces of information that people always look for. If your profile does not include this vital information, other members cannot make a proper decision about whether you should be contacted - and many will skip on to read the next profile. Your profile should be split into two sections:

1) Information about yourself. This should include your age, height, education, origin, nationality, whether you are single, divorced or widowed, whether you are Sunni or Shia, profession, some indication about your religious motivation (e.g practicing, moderate, westernised etc), and preferably a little about your interests and hobbies.

This information will allow the reader of your profile to assess whether you might be compatible for them.

2) The second section of your profile should provide details of what sort of marriage partner you are looking for. This should include information about what you consider to be important qualities, like education, religious motivation, maximum age and so on.

After reading this section of your profile, the reader should be able to assess whether they might be compatible for you.

Once the reader has gone through the whole profile they should have a reasonable idea of your compatibility for each other - whether they match what you are looking for, and whether you match what they are looking for in a marriage partner. They will then be in a position to decide whether they should contact you.

Please note that our terms & conditions state that you cannot mention any of the following in your profile: your name, the name of the company you work in, telephone numbers, email addresses, or URLs.

Add Additional Information To Your Profile

When you log into your membership area, on the left hand side there is a link 'Add/Edit Extra details'. When you click this you will be able to add additional information about yourself which should improve the quality of response you recieve. This additional information can be viewed by people seeing your profile when they click 'See More' link displayed with your profile.

Upload your photograph

Believe it or not but by uploading your photograph, you can increase the response you get by upto 7 times! To upload your photograph to our website simply login and click on the 'Add You Photograph' link and then follow the instructions.
